Removing swirls from a Infiniti 04 Q45
I'm having a horrible problem with removing swirls from my Infiniti 2004 Q45 the color is Royal Pewter, the car has never been detailed. Here's what me and my friend have done so far:
Test spot using a GG, ccs blue pad, PF4500
GG, ccs white pad, PF2500
GG, MF pad, FG400
GG, MF pad, M101
After trying all these steps and still seeing swirls, my friend who is a painter pulled out his dewalt rotary and used 3M super cut then going over with 3m rubbing compound and then I used my GG white pad and PF2500 and it was swirl free
I wanted to try M101 but couldn't find it at any local body shop supplies or detail supply stores ( I live in the dc/metro area), didn't want to order it because I wanted to be done by Sunday.
What I'm asking, is their anyway to make this process quicker??

The mf pad and 101 is a pretty strong combo. You won't find the 101 at any local store, if you do you're lucky and it would probably be at a specialty store. it's the European version that's starting to catch on more over here. m105 can be found at some local shops though. It's not as easy to work with, but when you get the process right it gives good results.
Maybe a detailer local to you can help.

FG400 and MF should do the trick I have used it on a few Infiniti's with great results.

Nope I wished it did
I even used compressed air to clean the pad did 6 to 8 passes till the product was translucent and it still had swirls but they were light!!!

Used UC on LC CCS orange pads on my brother's G35x.
Worked pretty well on the swirls.

I find on my Infiniti, also a 2004, M105/205 combo works terrific. I know you want it done by Sun, but just giving my 0.02

I'm surprised that this thread has not gone any further.
More pressure, less product. Or something in that vein.
Happy detailing...

My cousin has a Q45 also we used Wolfgang Total swirl remover with an orange flat pad and followed up with the finishing glaze and his came out real good.
