Question on wipe down between steps

I'm going to prep my black Cobra Mustang for a show this weekend.

Probably working in garage because its supposed to rain next few days.

It's already washed. So I want to clay it.
What to use for wipe down after clay?

Next using Meg's MF DA system.

After that another wash or 20% IPA ?

Finally probably using UPGP 2 coats

For deep shine should I leave it at that or add Colonite 845 which I have?

Is it necessary or worth claying sides or just the horizontal surfaces? Car is a garage queen only seeing sunny days.

    Thanks, Dave
Learning to detail for fun and to show my 96 Ford SVT Cobra, Black. My dad always said I was going to wax the paint right off my car. Would wax every weekend. GG 6" DAP

Use a QD as your clay lube..no need for another wipe down before polishing.

I would prefer a nuba over UPGP.Is it necessary or worth claying sides or just the horizontal surfaces? Car is a garage queen only seeing sunny days.
Use the baggie test to see if the sides need claying.
    Thanks, Dave
    Good Luck!
