    Leaf Blower for drying

Does anyone else dry with an electric leaf blower. Any bad sides to it that people have seen?

I use an electric leaf blower. Started with the motorcycle and tried it on the car and it worked great. Use the flooding method for your final rinse and then there is little to blow/dry.

    Re: Leaf Blower for drying

I've been using a blower for years, it works great. the one thing I have to watch for is, being careful not to let any minerals in the water dry on the paint. It can happen if you chase a drop if water across the body panel to dry it, when it's dry, you might have a mineral deposit.
It's great to get ALL the water out of the cracks.
    good luck

For about $50 it's one of the most cost effective drying methods available today....

I've used a leaf blower to dry the car but I prefer just using my sidekick blower and getting the water out of the little cracks and seems and dry with big mf towel

Don't know what I'd do without my electric blower. Very good investment!

    Thinking out loud:

If it has a bag attachment then you can also rig a filter on it to block any debris from being rocketed at your finish.
