They do have abrasives and chemical cleaners if I am not mistaken.

I have never had any Duragloss product stain. In fact Duragloss is one of those products, like 845, 476S, or #16, that you WANT to use on trim. However, there are so many different types of trim, with so many combinations of weathering and age, that it's impossible to be certain.

Great point. That's exactly why you should spend the extra 8 minutes and tape up your trim before compounding/polishing/sealing/waxing.

Thanks for the feed back.I use 845 and 915 but never used Duragloss before and I know most products with cleaners stain rather quickly so I will be carefull.

Thanks
Ken

I guess not. LOL!

I actually like the advice of "taping up" as a preventative measure. It doesn't take that much time and I get better and faster each time I do it. Of course, precision is more important than the speed...but you simply get faster at being good at it. It takes far more time to clean up wax and dust than it does to tape and it keeps dust out of areas that are nearly impossible to reach without water. It's bad to introduce water on vintage vehicles.
