Budget Carpet Extractor

Hey all,

Im looking into adding a carpet extractor to my arsenal of detailing equipment. I already have a wall mounted shopvac for doing big work.

im looking for something like this one from Bissel
I have found this model for less than $100 on other sites
Any thoughts or advice?

Many use this as it works well for the price.

Ive been looking into the LGM myself, from what the reviews say try to find the one that heats up the water.

Also it depends if you are planning buy for personal use or for your business. I red that a good practice if your running a business is the get the professional one (maybe a used Mytee) so then you can add that service to your customers and charge the "specialty" .

Just the fruits of my researches

The Bissel works OK for the money and the occasional use but not everyday use. I got mine here Bissell® Auto Care PROheat Compact Multi-Purpose Deep Cleaner - Bed Bath & Beyond
and they have $20 OFF COUPONS all the time but thats if your in the US.

Looks like they work pretty good. Here's the "little green proheat" in use. Looks to be identical to the one you posted and the same price.

Now i want one too lol.

Just for personal use, I will actually rent a rog doctor with the upholstry attachment. It's like 30 bucks at the local grocery store and it does a fantastic job. If I do it once a year I figure it's worth it. It's much much more powerful than that little Bissel and it holds alot more cleaning solution.

Re: Budget Carpet Extractor

This one should be perfect for just doing random spills and stains in cars. Im not gonna pay $130 for, only if it goes on sale for $99

Love that video! really interested now!
