Tint paints

Do all tint paints have a clear clear on top of the tinted clear coat?? If so does anyone have any idea how thick the tint clear is vs the clear clear??

With a tinted clear coat, the tint is mixed in with the regular clear.

They say it's a three step process...color...tinted clear...clear clear. I don't think that is the case. I used a polishing pad and hyper polish followed by Four Star final polish and I was getting color on the pad. Really freaked me out. When I looked I knew I wasn't through the clear. Reading on the paint today. If there was a clear clear there wasn't much...

Interesting, I knew RJT was a 3 step paint (or whatever it is called), but I didn't know that you would pull color from polishing. Cool info
