Rollable Adjustable Floresent Light

I'm looking for a rollable florescent light that is adjustable in about every direction similar to the one below but preferably without the $435 price tag.

Anyone know of any good alternatives?

Not quite the same, but something to get light on lower panels, check out the Wobblelight brand.

Yes, and the Wobblelights are fluorescents. You're welcome.

You could build the support frame out of PVC pipe for not many $$$ and attach a standard shop light--often thought about doing this, but just haven't had the time.

Re: Rollable Adjustable Floresent Light

Our PDR guy at the dealership has a neat homemade one. He took a 2-bulb fluorescent fixture and screwed it to a piece of 4" abs pipe. He then screwed a toilet flange to a plywood base about 18" square. The pipe just slides into the base for easy breakdown. Adding some casters to the base would make for an easy rollaround light.

These lights are EXCACTLY what I'm looking for but not at $500.All I need is a portable light for the horizontal surfaces for my vehicle corrections.
I have a twin head LED for the horizontal surfaces but something like the one in the video seems it would be more effective.I just can't justify a full correction detail to pay for it

Re: Rollable Adjustable Floresent Light

Cheap Wheeled Microphone Stand: $60

Four foot shop light: $40

Some bags of sand or other weight for the stand: $cheap

a few minutes trying to figure out the right piece to adapt a mic mount to the back of a fluorescent shop light.... and maybe 10-15 bucks and a few laughs from the guys down at the music shop...

No promise it's as good as the real deal but it's way cheaper.

It's a bad a$$ light. Would be good for wrenching as well. Hoping to have someone say "x" makes a light just like that for only $250, vs the $430.
