Duragloss 931 is a rinseless and not a waterless wash.

Re: How Long Does it Take You to Complete a Waterless Wash?

Can't offer anything new to what's already been offered but i'm at about 15-20 minutes for the vehicle and maybe 15 for all four wheels...total time 30-40 minutes. Love it for the quick washes and i'm still trying to retire my 128 ounce ONR!

I will say i'm still doing the 2 bucket method with traditional washes prior to every full exterior detail followed by clay before dry and prep for cut, buff, polish, jewel, LSP.

Re: How Long Does it Take You to Complete a Waterless Wash?

My rinseless washes are a sometimes deal that only takes about 20 minutes. I worry though that I am inflicting more scratches to my DD. I have started to presoak with ONR QD spray, and do a two bucket ONR rinseless. It takes me about an hour including the nasty wheels

Re: How Long Does it Take You to Complete a Waterless Wash?

I particularly like Smart Wax ONE from Chemical Guys. It isn't cheap but it works quite well and the carnauba & clay in it makes for a very nice look. I started using waterless washes in 2004 and have quite a few. Some are simply great and some are just okay but I haven't come across one I'd call a bad product yet.

I have used this ever since the tip from B&B Tennesse and never regretted it. As any rinseless or waterless wash , it takes a while to develope your technique so you don't do more harm then good. A little common since goes a long way.CG Ecosmart is top shelf IMHO.

Re: How Long Does it Take You to Complete a Waterless Wash?

I use the CG Hose Free EcoWash (HFEW), which is a rinseless product, and want to try their EcoSMART as it may have more wax/sealant. With HFEW it takes 30 min. with wheels for a sedan and 45 min for a Honda Pilot.

My wash method is to pre-soak with a 1:7 concentration of HFEW and then use the single bucket Gary Dean Wash Method. For wheels I spray with the 1:7 HFEW, then use a Daytona brush followed by drying with a MF towel. For wheels the HFEW releases more dirt than a 1:3 solution of Simple Green HD Pro.

B&B Tennesse is why I ordered it. As they say time is money and EcoSmart seams to be a big time saver. I've use Detailer’s Pro Series Rinseless Wash & Gloss and it's GREAT but always willing to try something different.

Never heard of the Gary Dean wash method before. I watched his video over on the autopia forums. I will have to try it out.

DocV - Have you used any other rinseless washes? If so how do they compare to CG EcoWash?
