I have never used the gtech mitt so most certainly I do not know one to be of higher quality than the other. My comment was not that one was better but rather my assumption is the opposite. It is my honest opinion that the Merino Wool of the CarPro Mitt which I reviewed over a year ago is top quality Merino wool. I use it for every wash on my pride and joy and a very good friend of mine that used to frequent this forum and has just about every wool mitt under the sun also prefers the CarPro mitt over all his others. He has not used the Gtech Mitt either as far as I know but he has the 40$ Merino mitt from another manufacturer from before he tried the CarPro Mitt. And after he bought the CarPro Mitt he has purchased many extras just in case it ever stops being made. Most certainly there is more than one grade (obviously) but not because the color is different on one from the other?!? My statement that all mitts are different is true.. no? Anyway I can't imagine that the Gtech mitt is superior to the CarPro Mitt and I also would not assume its any worse. I have used the same mitt for over a year and just can't say enough good things about it. I would love to have a sample of yours and give you my honest feedback if I can see a difference in the wool. It is my assumption that I will find it to be of similar quality. Of course assumptions aren't worth much but this was not about my assumption of the Gtech Mitt. only that I know for a fact the mitt I am familiar with is of high quality.
assumptions are just that - you assume that ours are the same because they look roughly the same. the fleeces we use are significantly different.

Are both of your mitts, half mitts?

The CarPro Wool Wash Mitt is awesome! This is by far my favorite and I only use it on my own personal vehicles. I liked it so much I picked up a spare just in case I needed or wanted another.

I also use CarPro 2Fingers Mini Wool Wash Mitt (qty 2), Sheepskin Wash Pad (qty 6), Micro-Chenille Wash Mitt (qty 2), The Bone Wash Sponge, The ShMITT (qty 2). I like each for certain applications.

fwiw there are significant differences between fleeces depending on burr content of fleeces, fineness of fibre, clumpiness of fibre, etc. there are several grades of merino.

you have a justifiably big reputation on this and other forums for your reviews which are extremely thorough and informative - let me know if you want a sample of ours as I think you will see what I am on about

Rob, Not trying to step into something here but AG doesn't carry your wash mitt. But I would be very interested in comparing your mitt to my favorite CarPro mitt.

I would like to see and compare the differences. Is there any plan on bringing your wash mitt to AG?
