Re: Porter 7424XP or Foam cannon--OPINIONS!

Absolutely. I have bought parts from AG for my foam cannon bought else where. as evident with the forums, AG is here to help. I spend money here all the time and im sure they dont mind me saving a few bucks on the little stuff elsewhere. AG is awesome.

Back on point yes if you needed to just get one get the PC or the Flex instead of the foam cannon. You can always buy the foam lance later.

The Porter Cable has the reputation of being the most reliable and the unit with the least amount of power.
So one thread supported by a couple guys is tons of complaints in reliability and power loss? I haven't seen anything about failure/reliability of the GG6 and they have a lifetime warranty so it's covered if you do. I have one GG6 that's about 3 years Old and my father in law has one he got for Christmas and there is no noticeable difference! We have had 0 issues with either. So neither are being sent back all the time. You make it sound as if there are more bad Griots than good. Even in the thread you reference there are people saying they havent had any issues only a couple guys saying they do. I think the Griots is the polisher that sets the bar the others are trying to catch.

Funny you mention how Reliable the PC is when there is a current thread about one with problems.
PC 7424xp problem

Any power tool manufacture will have their bad tools but I feel either tool the PC or The Griots are both quality tools. the lifetime warranty and the power edge goes to the GG6 making it, IMO the easy choice.
