Always have insect repellant handy.

Always have a can of "OFF" within reach. I was washing my car today, and I was just a buffet for insects.

I agree. I always put some on before washing my car. Plus I go and take a shower afterwards anyways from getting sweaty, so all it gets washed off.

Re: Always have insect repellant handy.

There's new "Off" clips, where you hook it around your belt or waist, anyway we used them when camping a few weeks back and they were great, maybe you guys can try that and not have to spray yourselves down....

Oh yeah, I've seen those clipped on to some of my nephews a couple of weeks ago. I have to give it a try, and clip them where they won't rub against my car.

ha, not to be to gross, but i was hiking with one on, and when climbing to stop from hitting my hip, i put it near my butt crack...around the back! no joke seems that'd be a fine spot for it when detailing a car!

Haha, I was actually thinking about placing it around that area. I think I'm going to need 2 of those clips, I seem to be a magnet for insects.

Re: Always have insect repellant handy.

Because of the mild winter, there are a lot more mosquitos this year. There have also been a lot of cases of West Nile Virus, a few resulting in meningitis. Be sure to use some form of protection. DEET is the most effective repellant available.
