I will be driving my VR6 corrado to the show. Get some ultima waterless wash plus. Spray and wipe righ before the show. Also, do a good wash, ( your poor boys wash will be fine), and wax before you head down to the show. Collinite insulator wax #845 will give you good protection, nice shine and easy to use. If your showing your car you may need to detail your engine.

A hood prop.............Does your car use shocks to keep the hood up or is it a rod? If the shocks are blown, change them. They aren't too expensive. If the rod is missing you can get a new one.

Re: Getting my car into show car shape

I feel that some things are best left stock. Something like a hood prop is one of them.

First order of business is going to be the fenders

Take some pics of the whole car when you get a chance, I bet it looks sweet with all the peel gone.
