I use an AIO on most of the cars I do. I always clay. The car comes out much better if you clay first. Most of the time claying takes 20-30 mins. It's a step I would never skip unless the car really doesn't need it. Which is hardly never.
I was asking more on a part time business view, basically id have to include clay to the package when using the buffer. Basically cant offer one without the other im thinkin
"Back in the day", before VOC regs, cleaner waxes had a solvent base. You could literally watch small tar spots, insect residue, road garbage etc. dissolving as you waxed. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case, so clay is almost mandatory for best results. As mentioned above, read the surface and let it tell you what it needs.
