Opps, I guess I got to talking about 2 different DG products here, I have plenty of #111 left, I'm talking about their AquaWax #951, what's the deal with all the numbers and how do they come up with them

For some reason, I have found that the looks of DG 111 enhance over a 24hr period...

AW is a great offering and what I would have suggested after letting the 111 sit on the paint for 24hrs BUT either way you got there!

I think your right about the #111 needing time to look better, my buddy Derek says the same thing about AquaWax, maybe its a DuraGloss thing, LOL!

I agree with your buddy Derek....I have noticed this with DG 111, AW and 105....

Re: DuraGloss #111 clearcoat polish....thoughts

I agree about AW but it doesn't seem to take as long as DG #111 does though, ofcoarse that's probably because one is a liquid and the other is an actual product you've gotta wipe on and wipe off. When I used DG #111 the first time I applied over the entire car, let it sit while I did something else and wiped it off, so I'd say it sat on the car for about 15 minutes, that's long enough, right?

Now as far as Zaino goes, well, I noticed the difference right away but after trying Black Fire WD and CS, I see no need to go back and re-order any Zaino. Thought about trying the Z-8 from Zaino, but after trying AW, well, so much for that!

Re: DuraGloss #111 clearcoat polish....thoughts

Is it the 111 that seems to be just like Zaino Z-2? I just tried DG105 for the first time and it's not even close to Z-2. The 105 was much harder to apply and remove. Z-2 goes on like butter! A lot more elbow grease but the 105 looks fantastic.

I haven't used Z2 so I can't speak on terms of application and removal. In my opinion DG 105 is easier to use than DG 111. Maybe a different solvent was used to make Z2 easier to apply/remove?

111 is the closest thing to the old Z2. It goes on much like the current Z2, just does not have the clear glassy look Z2 now has. DG105 has cleaners and some sort of filler in it. I agree, its a bit harder to apply, but not a big deal.
