There's no wasting product, no worries if it's getting mixed properly on the pad, etc.. Yes the directions originally call for applying 601 on the paint, allow to haze, apply 105, 111, or 501 over top and allow to haze again, then remove. However, Jerry@Duragloss gave Richy the instructions to mix them at a 1:4 ratio to save time, hence the tips now posted on their website. I promise it really is that simple and works every time. | Thanks for responding Richard. I'm on vacation and the Ipad hasn't worked that well with the wifi at the place we've been at. Going to a different place tomorrow for a week. I'm going to meet up with Corey too...looking very forward to that! |

Earlier, I tried mixing 10 ml of 501, 10 ml of 105 and 5 ml of 601 together for the second time. The idea is to get half of 501's cleaning power and increase the the mixture's durability with 105. Paint is not that dirty anyway. I use the remaining mixture on our refrigerator. | I could be wrong here but I don't think you will be getting 1/2 the cleaning power since both 105 and 501 contain chemical cleaners.

I mixed up some #111 and PBA this morning and will try it out before I go to this huge import cruize event today. Can I leave this mix on for an hour and then remove it like I do with #111?

Well, at least the abrasives of the 501 were decreased. I just hope that the durability is better than 501/601 alone. It's been raining like crazy here so I decided not to go with the usual 501/601 + 105/601, and get the best of the three in one application. It's an experiment (risk) that I could afford to take,

Well I just wiped off my blend of #111/PBA using AW and folk......WE HAVE A WINNER! I would compare this combo to those who use Blacklight/V7 for sure, metallic is soooooo poppin'! I made up just about an once of the combo and might have a few extra drops left, I'll just throw it on the glass later, what the heck. So if you guys wanna try something new, the #111/PBA combo, left on the car for atleast an hour and then remove by spraying AW and wipe off and stand back and admire your finish! BTW, I applied it in partial shade and let it sit in the sun for that hour too, no problems at all, not even a little bit so in a binch, you too can go this route.

| Re: DuraGloss #111 clearcoat polish....thoughts DuraGloss seems to be picking up steam, this is a good thing! Today I clayed my car and decided to try the recently bought #101 afterwards, added the PBA to it as well as I knew I'd be adding #111 afterwards and all I can say is WOW! The metallic is poppin' more than ever, here's what I did today:
1.clayed the car, actually had a little bit on the bar
2.applied #101 w/PBA added
3.applied 2 coats of #111 w/PBA added
4.after letting the 2 coats of #111 sit for any hour, I sprayed AW right over the top to remove it, stunning results.
I plan on doing a similar process tomorrow as i've got an S2K to detail, lovin' the DG, now I've gotta try the RV (#501)next, where will it end
