Re: Best Wax for white paint
For white or lighter colored vehicles I almost always go with a sealant. Just because you don't really get the deep wet look that you do on darker colors from a standard wax. The sealant will give it a nice glossy look. Powerlock is something I always keep on hand and is a great sealant.
Maybe want to try collinite 845 if you are looking for a wax. It's great durability and I love the look.
Re: Best Wax for white paint
Thanks. I do have 845 as well as my winter wax but have never tried it outside of that. As well I was very pleased with the results on the black cars!
Re: Best Wax for white paint
I've been using Collinite 845 on my pearl white. Recently I found a glaze that really stepped up the shine and gloss considerably. Two coats of glaze and then top it with two coats of Collinite 845. I have heard good things about the Dodo products for white. Because of their cost I plan on trying some of their samples first to see if there is a noticeable difference. Collinite 845 is hard to beat for the cost and durability.

DOO-DOO Juice White Diamond,
I would use a sealant first then top with the white diamond.

There's nothing nicer than a car that's brilliantly glossy! The old washing and waxing is a mere description these days and once you discover some of the secrets you'll gain a new appreciation to the term "detailing".
The final results of a gorgeous glossy shine are solely dependent on the proper surface preparation prior to applying a sealant or wax.
After a thorough wash and clay, at a minimum a paint cleaner should be used to clean and brighten the finish. Many of todays cleaners can actually abrade the finish slightly removing swirls and other similar defects leaving the finish smooth and ready for protection.
Cleaner Waxes/Sealants
Here are some great sealants that will protect all that hard work keeping the finish looking great for months to come. Two coats of sealant 12 hours apart is about the best protection one can hope for without stepping up the a coating similar to Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0

Re: Best Wax for white paint
Sounds like I should go ahead with 845 since I already have it! I'll be doing a full correction prior.
Fastfred, have you used the white diamond and followed up with the light fantastic as AG suggests?
