Re: BFWD vs Duragloss 105?

i just dont understand why folks dont just try the DG products. all u need is $30.97 (smallest sized) to purchase 601, 501, and Aquawax.

Is the BFWD this?....BLACKFIRE Deep Gloss Spray Sealant, spray wax, paint sealant spray

if so, then it says it must be applied every 7-10 days on top of a sealant. sounds a lot like DG AW.

BFWD per gallon is $$79.99
DG AW per gallon is $$34.99

Maybe i am just rambling cause this sweetwater 420 and yuengling is getting to my head, but cost wise, DG is a must and the durability is ridiculous.

try Duragloss and all other products will go to the back of your detailing cabinet and your wallet will be heavier.

THis is BFWD. BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection, paint sealant, synthetic sealant, blackfire sealant

I am a huge DG fan too, been using it for years. But Blackfire is awesome. Just one coat of BFWD provides a deep nuba like shine and awesome protection.

Re: BFWD vs Duragloss 105?

I love and use both of these products and maybe I have applied BFWD a bit too thickly before but to me, I do the same thing every time with every one of these products and so far, NO dusting with DG products and not every time with BFWD, hmmm.

I too don't understand why DG isn't one of those "it" products here, maybe the word just isn't out there for it for some reason, but I know this, hands down it has impressed me the most as I wasn't expecting it to perform like it does, I expected BFWD to and it has, BIG TIME! I've almost gotta flip a coin to decide which product to layer when I feel like it. Since I've just gotten the DG #101, I'm going to use that, with PBA added, after I clay and polish out this S2K on Monday, then I'm going to apply a coat of #111, leave it on for an hour and then spray AW over the top of the dried #111 to remove/add another coat of protection, love how this method finishes!!!

Because they don't spend a lot of money on advertising and marketing gimmicks. Plus I think some people dismiss some of the products because of the low price. There are lots of people who associate higher price with higher quality, which isn't always the case.

That's so true, hence all the threads about expensive products we have here on AG, LOL!

I still wanna see that spray on sealant from DG

Re: BFWD vs Duragloss 105?

I believe that 105 is durable on its own. Even without the 601, it may be outlast BFWD.
