DW919 Xenon Light - Swirl Finder?
I was wondering if anyone had given one of these a try for a swirl finder...I believe the single bulb for it is rated at 325 lumens. too bright?
DW919 18V Cordless Flexible Floodlight | DEWALT Tools
I like the idea of having a light I can just change batteries on versus recharging the actual unit and I already have 18v dewalt equipment...

Re: DW919 Xenon Light - Swirl Finder?
I have one of those, as well as a DW908. They are both great flashlights, but the Brinkmann does better for looking up close at paint. The bulbs in those are very good for say working under a car or something (or in attics, under houses, etc.); but the diffused "yellow" beam is really no different than other strong flashlights.
FWIW, I use my Brinkmann for all kinds of stuff, not just paint inspection. Plus a charge will last you a pretty good while, so it is no issue having to charge the unit itself.
