I wonder if the Turtle Wax actually caused the issue but it wasn't revealed until wiped with the Megs. Just wondering. Not saying that is what happened.

No, the Turtle Wax cleaner never took off color.

I'm still bummed out about this. I was too busy yesterday to call Meg's. I will call them Monday.

If I get the seats re-coated, is there a product I can use to seal them and prevent this from happening again?

I would ask that exact question to the person that does the re-coat; if you do that let us know their answer.

Like Unique said earlier. Most all re-dye's are going to blead thru. In order to prevent this the uphoulstery shop will need to recoat the seats as well. Most don't do this

I would recommend you check with them and see how much it would be to have the seats recovered in Pleather

I wondered this too. It might have softened the coating then when the Meg's was used it took it off.

If you really want some nice leather, get the stuff Mercedes use in their S class. That stuff is NICE!
