If you where going to put your car in a car show to adv. detailing....

So tomorrow I'm going to put my car in a car show for advertising purposes. I'm going to strip everything down and I'm wondering if I should just put a coat of glaze and no sealant on top of it. Seems my car always looks better before a sealant or wax. I'm not concerned about protection just looks. What would you do?

I use the EZ Creme and also Black Hole prior to shows. I use my car as a billboard and example as well. The adverstising has certainly paid off with new clients after every show I set up at. I put a 5x7 card on the dash that says "Maintained by Art of Shine, etc."

Do you guys glaze over your existing wax or sealant before the shows??

    Does the glaze remove LSP?

I do. The glaze is very temporary. You can "seal" it in by topping with an LSP. I haven't seen any degredation of my LSP's after putting the glaze on. Then again, my car is a test vehicle for products so there is always something different on it.

What type of paint? If it is SS then Megs No7 is awesome on SS. Clearcoat, I really don't use a glaze on so perhaps a very glossy wax like 845. Most people like the glossy look! JMO
