Re: Anyone not use a wheel cleaner?

Since I have applied Opti-Coat to my wheels, I no longer have any need for wheel cleaners. Is amazing...thats all I can say.
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

+1 Seriously Bro.....you are trashing your wheels by doing this. Stick to a good car soap with a soft brush and hit the hard stuff with a wheel cleaner or APC diluted 4:1 if need be.

I just wipe them down every car wash with a microfiber covered brush I got at wallyworld.

Only use it if there is brake dust I cannot remove with normal car wash. I just ordered some Diablo to replace the very acidic wheel brightener. So we will see how that works. Might try the new griots HD as well.

Re: Anyone not use a wheel cleaner?

I think he was talking about tires and not his wheels. Either way, not a great idea.

I use wheel cleaners if I need them. Normally just soap. Although tire cleaners are a different story.
