I used to think it was a hoax, just another item to buy. The thing I found is that MF cleaner seems to be a clean rinse. What I mean is there doesnt seem to be as much/any detergent residue left over. I have DP and Chemical guys, I prefer the CG one.
I havent compared it to Tide free, just regular laundry soap.

As you can tell from my handle. I loves me some kitty!! Best entertainment vs work ratio of any domesticated animal.

I was thinking about trying that... how is it at removing wax residue and greasy grimy residue from say, a towel used to clean out a wheel well...?

Use a cheap Costco towel for wells and then trash it.

Same but I only use it about every 5 washes.

I have found that any laundry detergent that is (he or regular) that is 'free/clear' along with the vinegar in the rinse cycle works just as good. I tried the mf detergent and found that in some cases it actually made the towel worse. Then tried the detergent/vinegar solution mention here and all is well.

It seems to me that most people think there isn't enough of a difference to justify the cost. Personally, I would rather spend $20 on a new tool or some pads or wax/polish, then laundry.
