    Products for rubber floor mats?

Any recommendations for treating rubber floor mats without making them slippery? It seems like any products for rubber say not to use them on mats, pedals, etc.

I would only wash them regularly. It's like the steering wheel, better safe than sorry. All you need is for your foot to slip off the brake and hit someone.

I have all weather rubber hexomats that I use APC on, scrub and spray off. I let them dry off in the sun and I have not had any issues with them. They didn't feel slippery afterwards, but this may be due to the hex pattern on the mat as the reason I haven't had any problems.

Wash with soap & water, air dry and maybe use a mild rubber treatment/conditioner to keep them soft and not slick .....

Dressing, generally makes rubber look shinny . Just wash them.

I just wash them, and then use a bit of Meg's Quik Interior Detailer on them.

Have you found a rubber conditioner that will do this? I tried 303 AP on the passenger side and it was very slick. 303 Vinyl & Fabric Cleaner does a good job of cleaning without making slippery. OPC works well too.

I clean with Opticlean and dry ... no dressing and no slippery mess that could cause an accident.

I have used it on exterior window weatherstrips. It has silicon and I believe wouldnt be safe on mats.. I agree with Alan T. and others except I have used APC's with good results too!
