Great to know because I tried the Black Onyx on them once, but it didn't do the trick. I used to use the Meguiar's Nxt Gen aerosol tire spray but this was quite expensive and messy for the wheel wells so I just stopped dressing them.
I'm gonna include some Opti Bond in my next order so I'll take your advice and use that on the wheel wells. So you say you can cut it with water? What ratio do you use? 1:1? I think that's what I've read before.
EDIT: You got me thinking so I went downstairs to see what else I had that I could use to dress them with and found an aerosol can of Silicone Star with a fan type spray nozzle. I decided to try this on the rear left wheel well and it went on cleanly (that sharp fan spray really helped for accuracy) and now they look awesome again! The coolest thing is that it only costs $1.99 per can from my local BP Gas station (well it did when I bought it a few months ago). Next time I do the LS600hL I might jack it up so I can get into the tight wheel wells as those are a PITA to access!
Thanks Ron, I'm mighty obliged!
