    Griot's ROP/pads question

Edit: Was told they're too small. Gotta stick to 6.5" pads.

Can I use 5.5" pads with the new version Griot's ROP(haven't changed the backing plate)?

You'll need a 5" bp for 5.5" pads. You want at least a 1/4" overhang to prevent from damaging anything that the bp comes in contact with.

Is there any benefit in correcting ability between a smaller, thinner 5.5" pad vs. a larger, thicker 6.5" pad?

The smaller pads will spin faster and correct faster. If your using the KBM then it may not make a difference.

KBM is too advanced for me.

    LC doesn't make a 5.5" flat pad??
