I called AG last week and inquired as to UPGP status and was told that they were merely out of it at the time. Seems like everyone else is also. UPGP is my favorite sealant and I am looking forward to seeing it back in stock soon.

Thank you for the reply! I love this stuff! I thought it was strange that it was just gone... Usually they still have it listed and it says "on backorder"... I don't need any. My 12 oz. bottle will last me for years!

Well, I called again and I have been informed that UPGP has been dropped from the AG line. RIP UPGP

Was it not selling or is there something else going on?
This is very suspect since the rest of the line is still there! Does it damage the paint somehow?

Re: Ultima paint guard plus no longer in ag store

Maybe they are dropping the entire line and waiting to sell off the rest of the stock. I kinda figured they would. When waiting for a new shipment they will usually inform the customer it is on temporary back order and not remove the product page. Also when I purchased UPGP from AG it was old stock from 08 so I just put 2 and 2 together. It is a very good line of products though.

I dont think it damages paint in any way. Sales must of been low for the Ultima line for AG. UPGP has been around for years and if it damaged paint we would of heard of it by now.

Oh no! Well I hope this isn't true, but if it is I'll have to ask for a couple of bottles of Interior Shampoo Gel and Interior Guard Plus to be added to my order because that stuff is FANTASTIC!!!!

its a nice line, but likely too expensive for most. Is it still being manufactured now that David has been concentrating on the new line ??

I think it is one of the best deals going. At about a dollar a pop and ten minutes of my time not to mention lack of microfiber and applicators I like it a lot. Another plus is that you have to put it on pretty wet to streak.

I agree that it is good value per application but I think killr is right as well because most people see that big$ and they either don't do the math or believe they only need such a small amount. At about 1/4 oz. per application thats 48 applications. I bought mine for 34.99 for 12 oz. Thats 0.73 per application (allthough I did make 3 coats) Thats still only 2.19 for amazing looks and durability!
