How to protect my rims - Tips?
So I got my new rims a couple weeks ago. They're a 2-piece rim. Rim itself is chrome. 2nd piece (can be seen in the pics) is plastic with a chrome finish. It can easily be removed to work on the chrome, and vice versa.
Any product suggestions to care for the chrome, as well as the plastic chrome finish. Don't suppose there is one product for both? Or, would they be two different products?
As you can probably tell, these rims are a pain in the a-s-s to maintain. Looking for something I can use to protect the chrome finish, while allowing for QD thereafter. Well, at least until the next protectant application. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Boy those wheels would be fun to wash.
I recommend getting a good soft wheel brush, like the Daytona brush or if you can find the Meguiar's yellow spoke brush to clean them. Start with least aggressive first (car wash) then work your way up to maybe a chrome cleaner (as needed). Most wheel cleaners in my experience will remove any waxes you put on the wheel. So, use only as needed (like heavy break dusting.....)
I use NXT 2.0 or M21 on my machined clear coated wheels.....

Use a safe wheel cleaner like P21S or Griots. You can certainly use an EZ Detail Brush for barrels and spokes. Likely coating with some DP Wheel Sealant will provide protection and often only soap and water is needed for cleanups !!

I will definitely check out that Daytona/EZ Detail brushes. Just what I've been looking for locally.
Scott - I checked out the link Nappers provided (thanks!), but did not see the DP Wheel Sealant listed. Did I overlook it, or am I looking for the wrong product?
Thanks again, guys.

I think this is the only wheel thing DP offers:
DP Wheel Glaze cleans and protects all types of wheels! Durable wheel polymer wax coating protects wheels from brake dust adhesion and corrosion.
I could be wrong.

Yeah. Those are the only DP wheel products I saw, as well. Really like the idea of a "sealant", though.

If you look about 5 places down from the 2 pack Daytona brushes, the DP products start about there.....Tire Dressings, Wheel Cleaners, and the Wheel Glaze....
Or you can shop by brand and click on the DP one.....

AHHH! The DP Wheel Glaze. Glaze/Sealant. Same thing in my book. Suppose that's what Scott/Nappers was mentioning? Done deal. Think I'll add that to my list.

DP Wheel Glaze or Poorboy's Wheel Sealant. Personally, I spray Optimum Car Wax on my wheels after every car wash.
