 3M shield care
Hi folks. I'm new here and need some advice. I recently purchased a new Toyota Avalon in dark metalic grey. The car has the 3M urathane on the hood, mirrors, front fenders, headlights, foglights, grill and bumper. I've ordered some Plexus for UV protection. The installer told me to avoid any waxes with dyes as they will degrade the shield. I need some advice on care of the 3M product. I live in north central PA and my cars are not garaged, so any wax or sealant that I use has to last 6 months. I've been a Zaino geek for years, and I just ordered some Duragloss bonding agent and sealer. Any and all input would be appreciated.
