Guys I need some help with my interiors.. mainly the seats and carpets.. cleaning the plastics and leather I pretty much got down.
This car was a mess …. Is this a lost cause? I used folex like everyone has ben suggesting on here.. along with oxiclean… and a all purpose cleaner.. also used the brush attachments for my cyclo to scrub the area.. since I don’t have a carpet extractor I went to the local supermarket and rented a rug doctor.. used that as well.. I did make an improvement and I did go over it like 4 times... but can I get this carpet like new? Or am I just being to hard on myself.. I expect perfecting out of every car.. too much to ask??? You tell me.
That looks bad. I don’t think you are going to make that look new again, but I would think you can make it look a lot better. I have a Hot Rod, folx, and a lot of other stuff and still can’t make every thing look new; some stains are just to old and ground in. Carpets are my biggest frustration.
I have to say that looks pretty bad. Did you repeat applications with the Rug Doctor? For how long have those stains been there? It looks like someone took a dump on your carpet and you didn't try cleaning it until now.
Try a OTC degreaser like purple power or something like it. Spray it full strength on the carpet and work it in with your fingers. Let it sit for 5 mins or so, then use and old towel and wipe it out. After that spray some H2O on the same spot and work it with a carpet brush and let sit again for 5 mins or so, then vacuum and wipe again with a clean old towel. If that doesnt get it out nothing will.
Well I bought some of the zep stuff.. let me know if it’s the wrong stuff.
I tested it on one of my clients stains I could not get out 100%
He said they are soda stains and have not been there for that long.. well i still cant get it 100%.. is there something im doing wrong?
You'd be amazed at how good you can get it with a PC and the carpet brushes made for the PC. As for the mats (last pic) take a pressure washer to them. If you don't have one take the mats to the coin op. I've gotten some real nasty ones close to 100% with a PC and pressure washer.

Thats my usual method. I will pre treat it with some apc or oxiclean on light mats and scrub with the PC then blast them.
