Flex XC 3401 Question

For those of you who have suggested to oil the felt ring on the Flex. How often do you oil the felt ring in the back of the backing plate and is 3in1 all purpose oil good enough for this purpose? Thanks JoeD

Re: Flex XC 3401 Question

I use a lithium grease on it. I rub it around the ring and back of backing plate, then wipe off any excess grease. I usually do it every 3-4 uses.

Re: Flex XC 3401 Question

I used the 3-n-1 oil, but have since switched to air tool lube.
