Power Finish

I've been thinking about trying out Power Finish, but I also have M105 and Ultimate Compound. Do I really need Power Finish if I have the other two or is Power Finish different enough to make it worth getting?

Re: Power Finish

You can't compare power finish to a compound. It's cut is in between SIP and IP. It finishes down very well.

Re: Power Finish

Would it replace IP then? Going by AG's Menzerna chart, it has the same cut as IP but finishes better.

Re: Power Finish

It has a little more cut than IP. I don't use IP anymore, I use that.

Re: Power Finish

Do you still finish with another polish after Power Finish?

Re: Power Finish

On my own? Yes. It depends on the pad I use. It finished down damn good with the soft LC green pad. If I had someone who wanted a one step. If 106FA didn't do anything, that is what I would use.

Re: Power Finish

I have been using Menzerna products for quite sometime, here is how I use the products, SIP, Power Finish and PO85rd, Power Finish is awesome, but for correction and heavy swirl and scratches SIP is certainly needed. The PO85rd really enhances and gives the paint a big boost.

Re: Power Finish

I don't have SIP, but I do have IP. Is there a difference? According to AG's Menzerna chart, they're the same.

They are not the same, SIP has more cutting ability,Power Finish has cutting ability under SIP, Power Finish is like 3 products in one.
