I was detailing a car and rolled over a small rock and cracked the recovery tank and had to slap plastic cement over it to keep it from leaking. Now it looks like there is a big booger on the tank. I would think it would be more durable than that. But the steamer part of it is great on the desidero. If I had to do it again I would get a Mytee or Aztec for extracting carpet and then a separate steamer like the ladybug for the rest of the interior. It would have cost just a little more to buy separate machines but I think I would have been happier.
that was exactly what others were saying, that it was best to get a seperate vapor cleaner and extractor for the best performance of both.

im going to use a similar model to the Shark to clean my engine bays. that way i can be direct with the dirty areas and stay away from the more sensitive area with electronics etc..
