Hey guys

Hey everybody my name is Gideon and I currently reside in the Philippines. I want to say that I am a big noob when it comes to taking care of paint jobs.

I just recently repainted my 96 Civic sedan "frost white" and it looks spectacular! I really want to maintain the paintob and make it shine even more! Before I even checked this site out, I washed and waxed the car right after I got it back from the shop. I used Armor All car wash concentrate for the shampoo and I used Mother's california gold carnauba cleaner wax. I used Microtex MF towels to apply and buff.

After I got done with this, I notice slight swirl marks. I kinda regret not reading up on detailing the car before hand.

Anyways, I have questions now. I'm really looking into 3 products that I think will be good for my application.

Klasse AIO
Wolfgang DGPS
Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Wax

or the Forum Faves. kit.

I know i'm missing MF towels, clay and shampoo. I'll get to that later. Now I need to know what yous guys think. I want to keep the budget down to around $150-200. Any and All comments and recommendations are welcome. Thanks guys and very informative forum.

Re: Hey guys

You did choose some great products. However my advise would be to clay, polish, seal, wax. Go back to the Autogeek main page and look at bottom of page under (Expert advise, Auto Detailing tips and tricks.) Many nice people here you'll get lots of great advise.

Re: Hey guys

I see. How do I polish without a PC? So far I'm decided with the DG 105 for my sealant. Looks fab on white. Any advice on others? This is a new "Frost White" paintjob. Thanks!

Re: Hey guys

Polishing without a PC is pretty much not do able. But AG does have some products that will fill the swirls. With a new paint job you should not be polishing anyway. You can seal and wax and see what the results are. You did make some great choices so go for it.

Re: Hey guys

alright. So i made my order last nite. it consisted of DG-105, DG-901, DG-601, DG AW, PB-Natty's Blue, 3 pinnacle foam applicators, 3 cobra indigos, and a cobra guzzler/guzzler hd combo. What do you think? This is all for a Frost White paintjob.
