Anybody use water based dressing on suv tires?

Anybody have luck with a water based dressing on suv tires? I always use a gel on our trucks, in the past tried PB's Bold and Bright a few times and didn't seem to absorb into the tires (even on new clean tires). I seem to find water based ones better suited to car tires then say a/t suv tires for some reason.

But looking for a different look now, like matte sheen, anybody used water based like Surf City, Optimum etc on suv tires with luck?

SC is my personal favorite for use on my Toyota Tacoma and on My wife's Jeep Cherokee.

Yes Surfer. I used to use DP Gloss Gel. Then I gave SC Black Tire Pro a try. SC was a little too matte for my liking but I did like its ease applying.
So to my latest deal, I mixed them. It works because both are water based. They stay mixed. I love the look. A little more shine and easy to apply. In fact my first test was on my Expedition.

I use 303 on my moms H3 tires and they came out great.

DP, Wolfgang, or Pinnacle. Forget AA.

Hope these show up better than the thumbnails. Sorry, I'm picture challenged.
