90's version Acura NSX - anything I should know?

I have a chance to detail a 90's era Acura NSX. These things had an aluminum body. Does anyone here have any experience with these things? Is there anything I should know before working on this car?

Yes...


Approach car and any raised body lines, edges and corners with caution.

You have no idea who has buffed out the car before you. What they used for tools, pads and compounds.

The paint could be what I call Whisper Thin in some areas and you don't want to be the guy that finds it.

Thank you, Mike. I've seen this car in our parking lot, and walked around it a few times, but never really looked closely enough to discern any of the issues you've described.
