Glass polishing pads - is any one better than the others

I have the car pro pads, are there any better than those out now. I have seen several new offerings since I got the car pro pads.

I've only ever used the Lake Country version, and they perform as advertised.

It doesn't get better than the CarPro Rayon pads especially when used with CarPro CeriGlass.

Probably not. I've tried, and it just seems to deep clean the paint. CeriGlass and LC glass pads actually removed scratches in the glass.

The LC pads may have changed, they used to be terrible. I like Griot's and CarPro, they were softer and more flexible than the LC pads, but it's been a bunch of years since I bought any glass pads so things may have changed.

    From experience....

My strong recommendation when machine polishing glass to remove below surface defects like pits and scratches would be to,

    Use a system approach

This means, if a company offers a pad and a matching polish, use these two products together.

Reduce the potential for bad things to happen. Been there, done that.

Also, here's my best tip for machine polishing glass to remove below surface defects....

Always START or the passenger side glass. Never start or do any testing on the driver's side windshield.

I would stay with CarPro Aragon and Ceriglass. I used a different brand and ended up with issues.
