I use them a lot for All in One Products as they have just enough stiffness/bite to polish but finish extremely well.
Lake Country? Which exact line are those? I hear people mention green pad sometimes and I figure they must be talking about the kind I've never tried. CCS, hybids, hex logics? There's pink pad too right?

I'm only familiar with the flat pads, HD Orbitals, and their ThinPros.

I don't have any Buff & Shine pads.

Mine are Hexlogic. I know some here have mixed opinions on them but I like them and find they work very well. IMO I let the results do the talking

He went through that exercise which caused him to have issues with both products. See page 2 and 3 of his previous thread.

Re: Mckee's 37 Paint Coating, revisited

Update: Ok so I applied the Mckee's Paint Coating earlier this week and yesterday morning I got it wet and did a bucket wash. Here's the scoop.

    1st time gettin wet.

Alright, at least I know I applied it correctly. This felt good.Mckee's 37 Paint Coating, revisited

Here's the trunk during the initial rinse.

I did a bucket wash with Meguiars D111 Shampoo Plus diluted @2oz. per 4 gallons water. I went over the horizontal panels ever so lightly as the car wasn't even that dirty. Here's what it looked like after I rinsed off the suds...

    Hmm... Lets try that again.

I shot it a few more times with the water trying to decide what my reaction was going to be... I was doing my best to stay positive. But then once I did the final sheet rinse...

This is what it looked like...

And here's what it looked like about 10-15 sec. later...

I'll admit I was pretty darn disappointed for just a bit, but I convinced myself to instead remain calm and think positive. Part of being positive about things meant not rushing to judgment, which is why I refrained from updating this post yesterday.

    To be continued...

    Mckee's 37 Paint Coating, revisited

Ok, Update to the update: Fast forward to this morning. I did some thinking and I decided I'd give something a try based on my past experiences with it helping similar situations in the past. Meguiars D114@1:128. I doused the entire hood with D114 from a spray bottle. Very liberal, and let it dwell for just a minute or so, not too long.

Sprayed it down with the hoze nozzle on "shower" setting...

Batta bing batta bang! Beadings back!Mckee's 37 Paint Coating, revisited

It's a good thing I stayed positive. I knew D114 would work. Just another reason why I love it.

After the rinse I sprayed it with some Meguiars D155 Last Touch, and I'm happy to report that things appear to be back on course and looking good so far.Mckee's 37 Paint Coating, revisited

    Thanks for reading.

Help me understand E2K...what did the D 114 do to resolve the beading?
