Re: Reason I won't use a coating again
It was a pre release kit. Will be sold starting March 2017.

Seems like it's not getting very good reviews.

So going back to the thread title "Reason I won't use a coating again" is the result of an unreleased product with little to no information available.... that just doesn't seem fair to the rest of the coatings out there that have had years and years of testing by both pros and consumers.
Again, not saying that any coating will prevent iron deposits, but it is a little unusual to write off coatings in general when the only data you've gathered comes from a (relatively) unknown product.
If you've got another vehicle, perhaps you could pick up a more popular option and do some comparisons (if you haven't noticed... people around here like head-to-head product battles. 2 will enter, one will remain. Fight to the death. That sort of thing )?

Is it a "nano" type coating, or a "sealant" type coating with "polycharger"

Going to have to agree with Zach on everything he posted in this thread. I am curious as well as why this coating was chosen over a tried and true coating. Perhaps the one that was used is a beta version.
Either way, use an iron remover and wash it.

Re: Reason I won't use a coating again
The OP used an unproven, yet to be released coating from none of the top vendors and is writing off all coatings? Has the OP used an unknown brand carnauba wax that didn't deliver and sworn himself off all nuba's entirely too?

Re: Reason I won't use a coating again
Relax relax. I was hesitant to use a coating in the first place and am disappointed in the results after 2 weeks with iron deposits. Shame on me. I have not ruled out coatings completely. Like I said, just disappointed. I will try another one from a known company here at AG and go from there. Looking at Opt Coat and WG Ceramic. See if my results are the same. This kit does bead like crazy that is for sure! Better beading than I get with Collinite 845.
So everyone simmer down now... LOL My post was impulsive

Impulse buy thats why. Looked easy to apply, price seemed fair. I will try something different to compare.

How can you impulse buy something that isn't available yet?

According to him it has been tested the last year and a half all over the Country. It's acrylic. Was a short period he offered the kit pre release. I jumped on it.
