SHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
Actually, no. I do use 205 on occasion, but the two I still love to use are UW&W (guess it's just me, or the metallic gray paint on the truck, but after my polish/845, it looks stunning after a touch up wash).
And the UQW. Tried all kinds, but this puts the "POP" on my paint better than any I've tried.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Ah, I should have known. Of course UQW has to be one of 'em. Performance per price ratio is up there. Hard to beat. Brilliant stuff.
My first [serious] venture into detailing world was Ultimate Compound. As a matter a fact, I found AG because I wanted to know how to use it properly.

Re: Does Meguiars make any bad products?
Depending upon the applications, condition of the panel, tool speed (rpm) and the orbit throw, I tend to get back to 3M products from wetordry, to compounds, to Ultrafine Polish. For hand waxing Adams Paste Wax leaves Meguires waxes in the dust especially with black vehicles. I just finished waxing a black Jeep Commander. As a test I did half the hood with Meguires Wax and the other half with Adams Paste Wax. Trying to photograph what I was seeing was impossible. It would have been great for posting. I finished waxing the entire car after 3M Ultrafine polish with Adams.

I never used nor did I ever like D114, it was an Urban Legend. Lame thread by the way.

Hopefully.................but after 4 and half years who knows. Start a thread illiciting negative comments about a companies products instead of the positives of their products? C mon man?
It can also be noted that said OP hasn't revisited this thread with a post. Could that be considered as trolling?

Re: Does Meguiars make any bad products?
A long time ago I got a few 6" Maroon Pads and could never get a good result with them. They didn't have enough "bite" to eliminate small surface scratches, yet they were aggressive enough to always leave an annoying mar in the paint.
I eventually got rid of them by using them to apply Megs #84, (Liquid Sandpaper).

You can find tons of positive threads/reviews on Meguiars products, and rightfully so. Those threads are nice, but boring and predictable. Megs tend to make consistently good stuff across the entire range.
I literally created this thread to find out if there are any Megs products to avoid.
And if anything, my original post as well as many other posters were very positive towards the company. A thread like this is likely more flattering and informative for Meguairs as a company, as opposed to negative...
