    Nissan gtr navigation help

Some client emailed me saying that his navigation is discolored after an interior cleaning and wanted to see if I can fix the problem. I told him if it is condensation, let it air out for a couple days and see if that would fix the problem. What is the best approach to this if condensation or APC goes inside behind the screen?
    Thanks,

Pics and a detailed explanation of how you detailed the screen would help. I have never had this issue and I have done probably a bazillion screens both oem and aftermarket. Are you spraying the product directly onto the screen or near it? Also your client may not know if this "discoloring" means that liquid got into the screen. Have you been there to see it in person yet to really know what is going on? I would first see what the issue actually is.

We spray apc on the microfiber towel and wipe it off. Maybe condensation from carpet extraction? Here are some pictures

FYI never spray anything on there. The best thing to use is a carpro suede cloth dry.or use a soft new micro and gently wipe dry.no chemicals nothing. If your on the hook for that that's gonna hurt.I highly doubt it's from extraction or maybe it was busted before you even touched the car.

I see Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz nav screens almost everyday that have been damaged by highly alkaline cleaners as well as silicone dressings. They turn blueish purple as the anti-glare coating starts to rub off. Never seen one damaged on a GTR but I'd assume it could be damaged in the same way.

I had a customer with a Audi that the nav screen was horrendous .As I made him sign a waiver that trying to fix I would not be responsible cause it was gonna be a shot in the dark.used scratch x and removed the anti glare coating and came out great.

I've never had a problem cleaning my Nav screens with just plain water and a microfiber rag. No chems are really needed.

That is the way I prefer too.

No chemicals to damage the unknown surface material. And as the MF I use the CarPro Suede cleaning clothes. And they are on BOGO right now. Super soft and I have never had a linting problem.
