    Planning my work

A few questions that are bugging me, and I sure would appreciate the advice.
I'll be doing a full paint correction on my black Lexus GS350. The first question I have is will the 30ml bottle of Cquartz be enough to do this full size sedan.
The second question plays off the first.
I understand via the Dr Colorchip video that filling road rash is the last step in the process, but the last step is Cquartz and I doubt the paint will hold if I apply it on top.

So, how do I do the ironx, wash, clay, 2 step polish (Wolfgang duo).......next steps?? Cquartz and paint fill, or paint fill and ???

    Thanks!

Definately paint fill in (Dr C Chip) FIRST, then CQuartz as the very final last step. You want the paint to adhere to perfectly clean surrounding material. Then lock it in with your coating.

And 30ml is way more than enough.

Thanks, Puckman. Can I Cquartz, say an hour, after the paint fill in or should I wait a longer period of time?

    In a word....

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

In fact... I'd wait a good week after chip repair before trying to coat it.

    Re: Planning my work

I agree with cardaddy. I always like to wait for paint to fully dry and confirm its bond to the panel before closing it in with any type of wax/sealant/coating. I usually wait at least a couple of days and a week as cardaddy suggest is even better.
