Red single stage
I have a red 93 mustang with single stage paint that the previous owner didn't do any kind of prep work on the paint before he put some kind of wax over the oxidation. My question is how do I take it back down to the original paint and start over with single stage restoration. What should I do to remove the wax and anything else on car now? Then what products and steps do I use to restore the paint? I have the porter cable DA, clay bar kit, Wolfgang uber compound, finishing glaze, deep gloss sealant. Thanks guys I'm a rookie so be gentle!! Lol

Re: Red single stage
Sounds like you're on the right track. Do a test spot with the Wolfgang and check your results. See from there if you need to continue on to the finishing glaze or recheck your technique with the compound and give it another go. In the beginning, you might end up with a lot of trial and error.
The BEST advise I can give is to read everything possible on these forums and ask a lot of questions.
