Best pad for PO85RD??
So after having used m205 and ready to polish with PO85RD what would be the best pad to use? as far as brands? im looking at the meguiar's beige foam pad and black foam pad. are these pads suitable for applying PO85RD??? need help here!

I don't use Meguiar's pads, but I've had great success with the gray Lake Country pads. I would have to say, as far as the LC pads go, the gray or the soft green may be the best pads with 85rd.

I like LC black for jeweling with 85RD, but some are recommending using HT crimson.

Gray CCS or Flat. I've used that combo and it has done wonders.

yea ive been looking into ordering some LC pads but i need some for this week and i can only find meguiars pads around here! as far as wetsanding to remove orange peel, what LC pads are suitable for m105 and m205?

Orange and white. What grit are you finishing with? Check out the Surbuff pads with 105.

Lake Country: Either Gray Flat or Crimson HT. Try each one side by side. Depending on the paint you may prefer one over the other.

another question, as far as sanding goes, is there a sanding backing plate for rotary buffers? is it ok to sand with a rotary? im asking because i only have a makita and i have some 3m 3000 trizac disc around but i dont have a backing plate!
