What is wrong with my paint???

Well after taking delivery of my new Z I finally got around to washing it last night and noticed these imperfections. First off, I'm upset that a new car is in this shape with paint and second I have no clue what it is. I've never seen this. Please if there is anyone who knows what is wrong and can tell me if it is something I can polish out with my PC or if it is indeed a manufacturer issue and needs resolved that way. I just want to know what is wrong before I go pointing fingers at a dealer/maker.

My guess would be a thin spot in the paint. The line beside it looks almost like a long hair. Hard to tell.

Try to get it out. If not, take it back to the dealer for a repaint.

its not a hair, but not a swirl I tried some clay on it, and nothing happened. its like embedded in the paint or clear coat it seams. I just don't want to hit it with the polish and go through and take it to dealer and be like 'hey whats wrong with this?" I mean brand spankin' new, frustrating as hell.

I won't touch it. It's brand new and you don't want the dealer to say that you damaged the paint by claying or polishing. Btw it looks like a burn on a thin spot by a rotary.

Thin spot for sure, take it back & get a new car.

Take it back to the dealer and make them fix it or give you a new one

Is it just me, or wouldn't you think that the car manufacturer would have better quality control.
