    Rehydrate leather seats?

Can you rehydrate leather seats? If so How?

I worked on a friends 1996 Cobra, I don't think he has ever treated the leather seats with anything. They are dry and brittle.
I cleaned them with Ultima interior shampoo and the Ultima interior guard plus and they are better bit still not supple or anywhere close to what it should be. Any way to fix them?

You could try Leatherique. It's expensive, and you use a lot on seats that are really dry, but it's good stuff. It calls for 4oz per seat, and if they are dry, it will suck it up. It's not a one shot over night fix, and might take a couple applications.

And if interested, check out thier other products at thier website. Not the greatest site, but interesting what one can accomplish with their products. Especially those looking to do real leather restoration.

Edit: I have only used this on older leather so far, not new coated leather.

Leatherique seems to be the go to for dry leather.

    IMO...For best leather rehydration results:
    Use Leather Master's Soft Touch/Vital.
