Which Glass pad for a Rotary?

I just bought ceri glass cream and 5 inch LC pads...Well I have a 6 inch backing plate though lol Anyways I see Griots has 6 inch but they are for what looks like an orbital. Really I am trying to get rid of the pitting on my window. I saw you did a Mercedes that you claimed you got the pitting out. I cant find the thread.

Do I need to use glass cutting pads?

I used Ceriglass with GG 6" glass polishing pad. First time using a rotary (actually first time I ever used a polisher) and was able to remove all the scratches.

I have never tried to remove the pits on my glass with this product combo, perhaps this is the thread you were searching for:

I was able to get very good results with the LC glass cutting pads and LC Cyan Hydrotech pads coupled with CeriGlass. I was basing my pad choice and technique mainly from Corey's CeriGlass review.

My windshield was especially jacked up so if you are just removing haze from wiper blades it should be a cinch. CeriGlass is AWESOME!
