NXT spray wax...is it NXT liquid in a spray ??

I have been using NXT V2.0 on my 2011 Tundra and have been very pleased with the results. I was using MEGs UQW as a next day booster but I went to my buddys Stereo shop and he gave me a bottle of NXT spray wax. It kinda acts like the regular wax in a spray form.
Is it not really a boosting wax kinda like UQW ??
Any opionins would be welcome.

wash
clay
Glaze#7
wax
24 hours later spray wax

It's been a while since I used it but it's a real spray-on wax. Most spray-on waxes are "booster" for whatever was previously applied. I'd say few spray-on waxes are actual replacements for a real coat of wax or paint sealant as you're not leaving as much protection ingredients on the surface after wipe-off as a dedicated liquid or paste product.

If you like the results and use it often that's more important. Key words being, you like it and often.

I actually coined the term "booster" for this product when I worked at Meguiar's. Needed a way to let people know it wasn't really a direct replacement for a normal coat of wax or paint sealant as in a dedicated product.

Hey Thanx Mike I really needed the clarification of what the NXT spray wax was. My worries were that if it were the liquid wax in a spray bottle then I was going to skip it as the "boost" potential is what I was after. It does seem to take a little longer to dry so I am going to keep a bottle of UQW around for a quickie shine and boost but I think I like the NXT combinations.
Thanx again for clearing that up for me and the super quick response.

Over on MOL I have a how-to article for using NXT Spray Wax, I'm pretty sure it's in the How To Articles forum group.

The key to using any spray-on wax is to apply a thin coat and to do this what works best is to fold a microfiber towel 4-ways and then dampen one side of the folded towel and use just this one side to apply the wax to the entire car.

Spray onto the towel instead of the car and you won't get overspray.

Here's the link...

That's my daughter in the pictures.

Just noticed I've almost caught up to my post count at MOL over here on AGO

Just Dayum....now that is what I call customer service!!! My buddy who owns the stereo shop is a small business owner and we always talk about how awful customer service is in most ( 80% ) other businesses. With service like this I can now tell you that this is where I will be buying my car care products!!!
Thank you SIR !!!!!

That was one of the few Meguiars products that I didn't like. I didn't think it was much easier to use the the liquid. UQW is much better.

I have some NXT spray wax I never liked, too, but didn't use it in the way Mike prescribes...I just tried to use it like a typical QD. So maybe I ought to dust off that bottle and try again!

booster indeed ... but I also remember several that used it often just as a spray after washing too.

Re: NXT spray wax...is it NXT liquid in a spray ??

NXT Spray wax was horrible. It was harder to remove than NXT itself. The only thing it had going for it was it smells nice. I threw it away. I use UQW now, and XXT Spray wax. Both of those are go on and off with no problems.
