Re: what sealant

I've been pleased with XMT 360 Cleans, Corrects, Seals topped with Optimum Spray Car Wax (OCW).

Since the vehicle is a daily driver and lives outside 24x7, I top with OCW about every three weeks to keep it looking good.
Since OCW is a spray, it's as easy to use as a quick detail spray.

I use the combo on daily drives, and it works very well.

Check out the spray wax 2 month update by Corey.

They do, it does get a little confusing. A simple search will bring up hundreds of threads.

Re: what sealant

There are a lot of great sealants available but lately I've been using some new products to me and have been very impressed.

Remember to at least use a paint cleaner to prepare the finish as most of the POP is dependent on what you do "before" the final protection is applied...

Cleaner - Duragloss 501

Duragloss 601 & 105

Mix 1 part 601 to 4 equal parts 105 in a squeeze bottle. Shake until blended then apply to a freshly prepped surface, let haze, then buff to a gorgeous gloss. I usually mix up 1 ounce of Duragloss 601 and 4 ounces of Duragloss 105 in a plastic squeeze bottel, shake, then use as I would any other sealant...

Duragloss 601 Bonding Agent
Duragloss 105 TPP

Other quality sealants I use and can recommend...

Re: what sealant

So the two sealants that I've used are the Sonus SFX-4 Paint Sealant w/Polycharger and Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. When I used the Sonus sealant I was actually REALLY impressed with it. It really made the flakes in my black 08 Accord EX and my Black 2010 Acura TSX pop. Sonus isn't a brand that gets alot of mention here, but I was really impressed with the SFX line.
