Mixing #205 and Ultimate polish

Hello,

Can i mix #205 and Ultimate polish for better results?

Reason why i think so:
  • #205 is great finishing polish but more cutting than UP
  • UP is also great finishing polish (consumer line) but bit more oils than #205

Thus mixing both may give the flawless results, because combo of both may create a synergy. Any comments?

Regards,
Imran

Re: Mixing #205 and Ultimate polish

Many here do some experimenting on their own and while it's not recommended by the manufacturer but where these products are so close and by the same company I suspect in this case you'll be fine.

How will you control the formulation?
1:1
1.5:1
2:1

You should do a test and post the results.

It was just a random thought...

for formulation i dont have any specific ratio in mind. few pea size dropes of each product on pad, and work my way..

You certainly can use that approach but what if you stumble on a combination that works, how would you duplicate it?...

Re: Mixing #205 and Ultimate polish

I'm not sure I understand the logic behind mixing the two. Mixing 105/205 I understand, but why two products that are so close to each other in purpose/cut/makeup?
