Best gloss for black paint?

Will BFMS offer more gloss than Fuzion? I know they are very similar but I was curious as if any one has used them side by side on a black car.

Re: Best gloss for black paint?

Are we talking about a metallic black or just black?

For metallics, I'd go with the bfwd+bfms combo.

For black, WGDGPS+Fuzion.

IMO of course.

Do you already have some wet diamond on hand? I have yet to be let down with that combo - same can be said with the WG combo. For the most part, I feel like very similar results can be achieved for LESS than with the WG combo. Each pair of products are fantastic though, I just find the Blackfire combo to be a better value.

Let us know which route you end up going. If you order the midnight sun and need some wet diamond to lay down prior - I can probably send you a sample to finish your car down and see the true potential of the combo.

I was a little weary of spending the $35 on the BFWD and especially with spending the $75 on the BFMS. After using the combo once, I new I made a wise decision. It's a straight up KILLER COMBO! I'd rate the wet diamond up there with some of the best sealants available, and midnight sun was a very impressive carnuba.

Re: Best gloss for black paint?

Don't know if this will help but the paint looks good... here's non-metallic black with Blackfire Midnight Sun paste wax...

2004 Chevy SSR - Extreme Makeover by Blackfire - Modeled by Tasha

Of course, it didn't start out this way...

The paint literally looked like it was washed with a scotch brite pad...

Feeling the paint with just our clean hands revealed a surface that felt like 80 grit sandpaper so we clayed using Blackfire Poly Clay and Blackfire Clay Lubricant

Some kind of grunge all over the paint. Not surprising, this is Sharif's daily driver so it's exposed to the environment at least 5 days a week.

Good prep is key and then your LSP is frosting on the cake...

Re: Best gloss for black paint?

yea, i just got done doin a full correction on my car and i LOVE WGDGPS! I toped that with 845 and got a WICKED gloss when I used the Fuzion as the final! I think now that i know how that went i might just do the BF combo next when the black mistress is due for a new coat of sealant. Ill get the BFWD as a sample with my order, thanks again!

I don't normally compliment mustangs, but when I do, they look like this.

Sorry, had to quote the picture.
